These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of InspectAI's website, service-business workspace, embeddable estimate widget, customer estimate and message portals, scheduling features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, embedding a widget, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
InspectAI provides a multi-tenant workflow for small and growing service businesses, including local HVAC, plumbing, roofing, auto body, and similar photo-first teams. It can receive customer-submitted photographs and contact details, generate a conditional visual estimate, support business review and editing, send an approved estimate through a secure portal, record appointment requests and counter-offers, provide customer relationship management tools, and send transactional communications.
The Service is a software tool. It does not perform field inspections, provide professional licensing or code-compliance advice, enter a service contract for a business, or guarantee any particular business, technical, financial, or customer outcome.
2. Accounts, Workspace Authority, and Customer Information
You must provide accurate account information and protect access credentials. If you create or manage a workspace for a business, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that business and to configure its branding, pricing rules, users, communications, and customer workflows.
You are responsible for the information, notices, permissions, and instructions you provide through the Service. In particular, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the widget, CRM, estimates, portal links, messaging, and scheduling tools complies with applicable privacy, consumer-protection, marketing, accessibility, licensing, and local service-business requirements. Do not share a customer's secure portal link or workspace access with unauthorized persons.
3. Conditional Visual Estimates and Service-Business Responsibility
InspectAI can use AI-assisted image analysis and business-provided pricing context to generate a conditional estimate. The output may include a possible issue, confidence score, estimated labor, suggested parts, and a conditional total. It is not a diagnosis, engineering opinion, safety assessment, code-compliance determination, on-site inspection, or binding offer.
The service business remains solely responsible for reviewing, modifying, approving, communicating, scheduling, and performing any work; verifying site conditions, safety, permits, measurements, pricing, labor, parts, taxes, and applicable law; and deciding whether to enter into a customer agreement. Customer-facing estimates remain unavailable until the business approves and sends them through the workspace.
Electronic Signatures
Customers may be asked to sign an estimate electronically by drawing or typing their signature in the secure estimate portal. By checking the electronic-signature consent box and submitting a signature, the customer agrees to conduct that transaction electronically and agrees that the electronic signature carries the same effect as a handwritten signature on the specific estimate revision presented at signing. Each signature is stored with the signer's name, the signature method, the estimate revision, the date and time, and technical records supporting attribution. If the business revises the estimate after it was signed, the earlier signature no longer applies to the new revision and the customer is asked to sign again. InspectAI provides signature capture and record-keeping tools; the enforceability of any signed estimate or agreement remains the responsibility of the service business and its own legal counsel.
4. Plans, Trials, Billing, and Cancellation
Starter (free)
Every new workspace begins on the Starter plan, which is free. Starter includes up to 15 estimate requests per month and up to 5 AI-assisted visual estimates per month (the AI reviews the first two photos of each request), one workspace seat, and the public estimate widget and customer portals with “Powered by InspectAI” branding. Starter lead and photo records are retained for 30 days. When a monthly AI-estimate allowance is exhausted, new leads are still accepted and held for manual Expert review; AI-assisted generation resumes at the next cycle. Usage limits are enforced server-side and reset monthly.
Pro
InspectAI Pro is currently offered at $129 per month and includes two total workspace seats, subject to change with advance notice where required. Additional workspace users may be arranged with InspectAI at $19.99 per user/month. Pro removes InspectAI branding from the widget and customer portals and unlocks scheduling, messaging, the full catalog, and complete customer history and reporting. Pro workspaces receive a monthly allowance of up to 100 AI-assisted estimates, and the AI reviews up to four photos per estimate on Pro. When the allowance is used, leads remain available for manual review. Pro is intended for high-volume fair use; InspectAI may apply usage guardrails to protect service reliability.
Trial
A 7-day no-card Pro trial can be started from the workspace Billing page. No payment method is required to start the trial. To continue beyond the trial, you must add a valid payment method before the trial ends. If no payment method is added, the trial subscription is configured to cancel without a charge, and the workspace returns to the Starter plan. The managed Checkout and billing tools govern the payment flow under their applicable terms and privacy policy.
Subscription payments, payment methods, and customer-billing functions are processed by a managed payment service; InspectAI does not store raw payment-card numbers.
Cancellation and downgrades
You may manage an active subscription through the available billing portal. Cancellation or downgrade moves the workspace to the Starter plan and its limits, including 30-day lead and photo retention; previously stored data beyond Starter limits may be removed on that retention schedule. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not retroactively reverse valid charges or override obligations that accrued before cancellation, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Additional plan options, such as annual billing or a seasonal pause, may be offered from time to time; their terms will be presented at purchase and governed by these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for legitimate business and customer-service workflows. You may not use it to violate law, infringe another party's rights, upload unlawful or malicious content, impersonate another person, send spam or deceptive communications, circumvent access controls, probe or interfere with the Service, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, or use the Service for a purpose that creates unreasonable risk of harm.
6. Your Content and License
You retain your rights in the business information, customer information, images, pricing rules, catalog data, messages, and other content you submit or manage through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant InspectAI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, transmit, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, including through the providers described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis necessary to provide Your Content and to direct InspectAI to process it. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your business pricing, catalog settings, and customer communications.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on managed external services for authentication, storage, AI-assisted processing, email delivery, and billing. Those services may have their own terms, policies, availability, and technical limitations. InspectAI is not responsible for a third party's acts, omissions, outages, policy changes, or services outside InspectAI's reasonable control.
8. Availability, Changes, and Support
We may modify, maintain, suspend, or discontinue features to improve security, reliability, or compliance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security issues, unlawful use, material breach, or risk to the Service or others.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." InspectAI disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that visual-estimation output will be complete, correct, suitable for a particular repair, or accepted by a customer, insurer, regulator, or third party.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InspectAI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, data loss, pricing errors, scheduling conflicts, missed communications, or service interruptions. Where liability cannot be excluded, InspectAI's aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service will not exceed the amount paid to InspectAI by the affected subscriber for the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a revised date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and manage any active subscription through the applicable billing tools.
